Hairloss News - Rontal Salon organizing hair drive to help children - Times Press Recorder

Rontal Salon is having its seventh annual Locks of Love hair drive from noon to 4 p. A person with 10 or more inches of relatively healthy hair is eligible to donate hair during the drive. Locks of Love was incorporated in December of 1997 and utilizes donated hair and resources to provide hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under 18 with medical hair loss. Rontal Salon with Locks of Love wants to help meet the needs of children struggling with medical hair loss. Approximately 2 million children throughout the United States suffer from alopecia areata, an auto-immune disorder that causes the hair follicles to shut down. read more
